EVALUATING THE GAPS

Having the right equipment at the right time in the right place is essential.

Risk assessments, exercise after action reviews, and real life events help us identify gaps in regional healthcare preparedness.

The coalition evaluates and attempts to eliminate those gaps by providing training and exercises, regional equipment purchases, and opportunities for collaboration.

RESPONSE PLAN

Having a response plan for mass care and shelter is a priority.

The development of a Regional Response Plan and establishing a Regional Medical Coordination Center is essential. The objective is to enhance the traditional emergency response structure to better utilize the resources available in our region in the event of a disaster.

The RMCC will focus on:
